It's hardly a surprising development, as those of us in PAL territories have long been accustomed to waiting a while after US and Japan launches of new consumer tech, but a recent report by CVG suggests that will again be the case with Nintendo's upcoming Wii U.

Citing "sources connected to the matter" CVG explains that while the Wii U is still expected to hit US shelves in time for Thanksgiving in November 2012, alleged manufacturing issues will reportedly mean an extra month's wait into "early December" for European gamers -- and Nintendo has historically lumped Australia and New Zealand into the Euro distribution window.

Of course, Nintendo hasn't even announced any kind of release date at all for the Wii U -- not even a year -- so one can't really call this development a delay, but a November 2012 launch window has long been expected by industry pundits.
