According to a quick eye over at NeoGAF's forums, Bethesda may have let the cat out of the bag a bit too early with the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim website listing both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game.

The listings have since been removed, however user maltrain at NeoGAF was able to get a quick screengrab showing the two new version listings, though did note that they weren't highlighted with a link which could suggest an imminent reveal soon enough. With Square Enix recently announcing a Definitive Edition of Tomb Raider for the new generation consoles, it wouldn't surprise us if Bethesda wanted to jump in on the porting action.

To help add to the rumour mill, website OnlySP is reporting that a recent email has been circulating from Bethesda suggesting to come visit the site on January 12th, so we may hear something sooner rather than later? Would you buy a "definitive" edition of Skyrim on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One? Let us know in the comments below.

Err wouldn't you get it on pc? Assuming that you could afford to jump on the console bandwagon so early in it's cycle it's likely you have access to a decent PC (at least 3 years old). Said PC would run skyrim quite well and at the same time have access to a plethora of mods.

Now if they brought the modding scene to the new consoles -- different story.

Skyrim has an awesome engine it runs with the hi-res texture pack with settings cranked to max beautifully on a three year old laptop.

Why would you ever get skyrim on anything other than pc, mods give it hundreds of hours more playability

I have Skyrim on the 360 too graphics aren't anywhere near as good as PC but it was fun just sitting in front of the couch on a 50" screen it was a good chillout session after work.

Apparently it's not happening.

We have been working on the CMS that runs our sites. A bug caused platforms that don't exist to show up for some games Sorry for confusion.
