According to sources of tech publication The Verge, Crytek's Kinect-infused ancient Roman soldier fighting game, and a new Forza Motorsport title are positioned to be among the launch lineup for Microsoft's rumoured new Xbox console.
Noting that they are but a "small selection" of the launch linup, the report also mentions a "zombie game" and a island-themed family title with Pixar-esque art direction that can scan a player's body to generate an in-game likeness.
Ryse was originally announced as an Xbox 360 title back at E3 2011, with a trailer (embedded below) only offering a brief snip of gameplay demonstrating melee combat as a legionnaire in ancient Rome.
Microsoft is heavily rumoured to be revealing the next Xbox console at an event on May 21, and expected to show more still at E3 2013 in June.
