Leaked images of the next upcoming Assassin’s Creed game have been released by
Kotaku, and they appear to confirm a number of existing theories including the time period — 18th century Paris — and the name, Unity.
What is more interesting is that Kotaku's sources are claiming that Unity is only
one of two Assassin's Creed games to come this year, with Unity set for current-gen consoles (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One) and one for last-gen consoles, currently codenamed “Comet”. It is unknown whether one or both are coming to PC, and sadly no confirmation for Wii U gamers.
You can see a small glimpse of the screenshots below, but be sure to check out the
original Kotaku article for more. Of interest is the new "parkour" up and down buttons, which apparently point to a new navigation mechanic set to debut in Unity.

Sounds interesting, but I'm still waiting for them to follow through on that feudal japan concept they floated way back before AC3.

As for revolutionary France mmm it could be ok,, i guess? We have had a lot of European content,,, already but revolutionary France had a lot of interesting stuff going on but where are the war ships in Paris?

Mosfx, 4 is probably the best individual game in the series, though it's still easy as you please. Assassin's Creed is not about being challenged, it is about being cool and in 4, rollicking pirate adventures. If you wanted Sid Meier's Pirates! to be a bit more action oriented and serious you might enjoy it a lot.

What are you talking about? France and America have been buddies since way back

Stupid americans don't have a built in hate for Italy like they do France, despite Italy actually being an enemy back in the day.

Yes.
And grab the Freedoms Cry DLC as it is also pretty good. Using a blunderbuss and machete makes for some pretty brutal combat.
