As we head into the final weekend before E3 2014 the rumour mill has begun churning out what we might see at this year's Los Angeles three-day event, and today's rumours are pointing to a possible "Mario Maker" from Nintendo.
Polygon are reporting that a somewhat grainy photo has leaked online showing the new title at the company's under construction booths for E3 2014. The image was first posted by
Nintendo Enthusiast, depicting what looks to be a game that uses sprites and characters from the original Super Mario Bros. title. At a glance it looks to be stylus controlled, though it isn't clear which platform the title could be on.
Making the image somewhat slightly legitimate is the various booths behind, which showcase Nintendo's upcoming Super Smash Bros. title for Wii U and 3DS. Each of the booths are plastered with characters from the roster, including the Villager from Animal Crossing and Pikachu from Pokemon.
We'll be hearing more from Nintendo come next week, so stay tuned on AusGamers for all the latest.
