After officially being confirmed for a current-gen and PC release way back at E3 2014, Rockstar's open-world sandbox title Grand Theft Auto V is still missing one key bit of information: the release date. Currently expected to launch sometime in America's "Autumn," we may be seeing it sooner thanks to a leaked release date.
PCGamer reports (via VG247) that an accidental listing by Danish retailer Coolshop has pointed to a November 14th release date for the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V. The date was quickly reverted when it was discovered, with the retailer pushing it back to the typical December 31st place-holder date.
VG247 has pointed out that the accidental leak may actually have some plausibility, with the November 14th date falling on the typical Friday launch of video games in Europe. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long though for the more official announcement from Rockstar.
Grand Theft Auto V will be coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Miss the E3 2014 trailer? Catch it below to see just how improved the new-gen versions are.
