A eagle-eyed poster over at
NeoGAF has spotted what looks to be a Steam logo on
Final Fantasy XIII's portal website, suggesting that we could see the 13th title in the long-running series heading to PC.
NeoGAF user Slowdive spotted the logo, asking whether it had been a "mistake or?" Currently developer and publisher Square Enix has made Final Fantasy III, VI and VIII available to PC users on Steam, though it wouldn't be a surprise to see a more current Final Fantasy hit the digital distributor with recent rumours suggesting in-development title Final Fantasy XV may come to PC. If the rumour does turn out to be true, we may even see its spin offs XII-2 and Lightning Returns come to Steam.
Treat this as rumour for now, but here is to hoping we see more Final Fantasy titles heading over to PC.

I'm actually really glad to see Japanese developers increasing their game releases/ports to PC. We've had the old FFs, but the same thing is starting to happen with Konami. We have Metal Gear Rising, and there's already splash pages for MGS: Phantom Pain - Ground Zeroes. Even Koei and Suda51 are getting in on Steam.
Personally I'm waiting to see the Yakuza series on Steam, at least as HD remakes or something.
