The highly anticipated Rocket League "Tournaments Update" is now available across all platforms and, alongside the addition of the Tournaments feature, also includes a number of new fixes.
Play against friends online in bracketed, single-elimination tournaments! The Tournaments feature lets you create public or private competitions as well as browse current ones.
We have plenty in store for you in the Tournaments Update on top of organized competition within the client, including a number of additions and improvements asked for by our community:
Additional ways to sort, filter, and organize your item inventory
Equipping specific Painted Car Bodies to Orange and Blue
Restrict chat to Team Quick Chat Only
In-game Connection Quality Status indicators
Performance improvements and additional graphics settings for Rocket League on Nintendo Switch
"...and there’s more where that came from, including fresh in-game music from our friends at Monstercat and the new ‘Triumph’ Crate! We’ll have full details on everything in the Tournaments Update in our Patch Notes next month.
After reading through all of the feedback we received from the Tournaments Beta, we’re also determining what’s going in the “V2” version of Tournaments, which we hope to release later this year.
