Headed, get it? Soccer reference. Anyway the runaway success that is Rocket League will be getting a Nintendo Switch release later in the year. And in a spot of great news it will support the game's cross-platform capabilities. So whilst on-the-go you could be matched up against PC and Xbox players. Yeah, the future is now!

Oops, wrong clip. Here's the trailer for Rocket League on Nintendo Switch.

As you can see the Nintendo Switch version will be feature complete with exclusive hats (Mario!) and cars. No word yet on what the exclusive cars will be -- but at this state they just have to be the Karts from Mario Kart, right?

Also, you may have noticed that the game's cross-platform functionality still doesn't include PlayStaion 4. Well, as developer Psyonix notes, the hold up is still on Sony's end. In that they refuse to let it happen.
