And sure Capcom released a HD version of Resident Evil 4 a few years ago on PC, alongside re-releases across basically every platform, but that version mostly kept the old textures. Making the already blurry visuals even blurrier - in HD. And so a group of fans has taken it upon themselves to bring the visual look of the classic action title much more in line with, well, how we remember it.

Where it turns out that the group, and Resident Evil super fans, went so far as to visit key locations that Capcom used to originally source textures to capture and replace in-game artwork with new versions that are 16 times the resolution of the original textures. The results speak for themselves, as seen in the following trailer marking a recent release for the Resident Evil 4 HD Mod Project.
