If you had glossed over the high-profile Kickstarter project République recently because you don't own any iOS devices, you may want to take a second look as due to popular demand, developers Camouflaj & Logan have announced that PC and Mac versions of the game will now be included as part of their primary goal.
This won’t be some basic, simple port. No copy-paste. The team has spent the past week drafting up a smart plan to deliver a special version of République featuring new gameplay, controls and story elements tailored to the strengths of the PC and Mac platforms.
The crowd-sourced venture currently stands at $103,000 raised of their $500k goal, with two weeks remaining. In light of the new platform announcements, willing contributors can now pledge $15 for the eventual desktop edition, or $20 for both the iOS and PC or Mac.

For those that didn't hear about this one the first time around, here's the brief:
Developed by industry veterans behind AAA games like Metal Gear Solid, Halo, F.E.A.R., Kinect, and cutting edge videos like the Skyrim television spot and the iconic iPod “silhouette” ads, République represents a strategic alliance between Camouflaj and Logan to make an epic action game designed specifically for touch-based devices.

Concept looks awesome.

Unfortunately it's the sort of game I find the least enjoyable/entertaining.
