Although we don't have a release date for the Xbox One version of PUBG, it's still currently on track for release sometime later this year. What we do know is that Micrsoft engineers and developers are working closely with PUBG developer Bluehole, Inc. to ensure it's the best it can be. In a follow up to yesterday's report of a PS4 version of PUBG, Bloomberg are now reporting that Microsoft are in talks to extend the time between console versions.

That whole exclusivity chestnut. The fact that this is all centered around PUGB, aka PlayerUnknown's Battlrgrounds, is fairly interesting. For one, this is an indie title still in Early Access on PC. And second, due to the lack of first-party titles on Xbox One this year it's become one of the premiere holiday releases for the console and the new Xbox One X. All thanks to PUBG selling over 13 million copies on PC, and becoming the most popular multiplayer game of all time on Steam.

Which also means that if Microsoft were looking for exclusivity in the range of 6 or 12 months you can be sure that something like that won't come cheap. According to the Bloomberg report, both Sony Corp. and Tencent Holdings Ltd are "clamoring for rights to put the title on consoles and mobile phones".
