As per this report from VentureBeat word is Hideo Kojima and Microsoft have "signed a letter of intent". Which points to a formal agreement full of details and publishing info and other financial stuff currently being ironed out. Could this mean that the Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding creator's next big game might be an Xbox exclusive of some kind?

As the head of Kojima Productions, the developer's first effort outside of Konami was of course the PlayStation 4 exclusive Death Stranding (which also made its way to PC). Where it gets interesting though is that the report indicates that this partnership with Xbox could primarily be all about leveraging Microsoft's cloud-based technology. Which makes sense when you look at the ambitious scope and underlying systems that were found in Death Stranding.

So, yeah, this could be Xbox related. But odds are this could also be a multi-platform release covering Xbox Series X, PC, and PlayStation 5.
