Nintendo of Australia has just announced a brand-new deal for Australian residents, offering a free Wii U game to anyone who purchases and registers Mario Kart 8 between May 31st and July 31st 2014.
Whether Mario Kart 8 is purchased at retail or via Nintendo eShop, if you register an accompanying Club Nintendo PIN code of the game with Club Nintendo between 31st May 2014 (00:01 AEST) and 31st July 2014 (23:59 AEST), you will be eligible to claim a free download code* for one of 10 selected Wii U games by 31st August 2014 (23:59 AEST).

This offer also applies to Club Nintendo PIN codes included in the Mario Kart 8 Limited Edition software offering and Mario Kart 8 Premium Pack hardware bundle. More details of this promotion will follow at a later date.
The 10 Wii U games featured in the promotion include Nintendo Land, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Pikmin 3 and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD. The full list and further instructions on how to gain the free game can be found at the official website.

Good to see for a chance they're not always crappy games. I'd take WindWaker HD - been considering buying the Wii MK8 premium pack.

Pre-ordered mine a while ago. Haven't decided which free game I'll grab, I already have Wind Waker, Mario Bros U and Nintendoland. Probably will be a toss up between Pikmin and that Sonic Lost world one. Are the Pikmin games any good? I've never actually played any of them.

Pikmin 3 is a heap of fun, very micro-manage like and can get really interesting further into the story. I'd recommend it if you like micro-management and pretty fruit textures.

I should go trade in Pikmin 3, buy MK8, then use my download voucher got Pikmin 3.
