Retailer listings giving accurate time-frames ahead of announcements is something that we've come to accept in recent years. But, with placeholder dates also being thrown around everywhere it's not an exact science. Based purely on the success of GTA V on PC, Red Dead Redemption 2 will no doubt be coming soon to the platform. Months ago there was a LinkedIn profile for a Rockstar developer detailing that they were working on the port.
And so today,
MediaMarkt, one of the largest tech retailers in Europe, had Red Dead Redemption 2 PC listed with a 2019 release. With a placeholder date of December 31, 2019 perhaps retailers have been given some indication that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC next year - or MediaMarkt is jumping the gun based on what we all know.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will come to PC - it's just a matter of when.
With the PS4 and Xbox One release happening this Friday - we're guessing that the PC version is given a formal announcement either late this year or early 2019.

This is to be expected but I will still complain about it.
Until then I will be blinging out my Horse in RDR2 with LED horseshoes and pink tiger pattern camo on my revolvers on Friday.
