And it continues in the tradition of terrible names for Darksiders re-releases, first seen with Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition from last year. Darksiders: Warmastered Edition though is a remastered version of the original Darksiders, and is headed to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii U on October 25.

And the name comes from the fact that you play as War in the first game. Which we could argue is the better of the two, as it has a more traditional Zelda feel to it.

A number of improvements are said to be coming along with this re-release including 1080p 60fps performance, improved textures, rendering, shadows, and post-processing. The re-release comes from current Darksiders franchise owner Nordic Games, who has previously expressed interest in creating a proper Darksiders 3. Here's hoping that these re-releases sell well enough for that to happen.
