And that's in terms of pricing with the new Razer BlackWidow offering the same great feel as the Razer BlackWidow Elite but with a few less premium bells and whistles. Which is what Steven Impson found out in his soothing mechanical clicky-sound filled review.

A snippet.
This standard BlackWidow comes equipped with Razer's own 'Razer Green' keyswitches, which should last a while thanks to a specified 80 million keystroke lifespan. To my fingers, they feel extremely close to Cherry's MX Blues. The audible click when a key actuates makes for a satisfying typing experience, albeit one that people around you might not enjoy as much as you do. Razer's switch design makes some improvements on Cherry's with extra material around the switch stem for a sturdier key with less wobble.

I'm still using my Black Widow Ultimate that I brought years ago and it's going strong.

Only thing is it probably needs a clean since some of the keys are sticking, which might have been a result of my sister spilling a cup of coffee over it ages ago...
