There's no denying the brilliance of Ubisoft's Michel Ancel; a true artist in the videogame medium who not only gave us crazy Rabbids and Beyond Good & Evil, but also a platform legend bested, arguably, by only Mario -- Rayman.
There's been a lull in true platform gaming of late, with only indie devs like Team Meat (Super Meat Boy) really harking back to the design of yesteryear, but Michel's Festivus present to the gaming industry and consumer-base at large, Rayman Origins, definitely fixes that.
Available on multiple platforms and serving up both a visual and classic platform control feast, Origins should keep you leaping, collecting and attacking for quite some time.
