Sylvester Stallone's performance in the very brutal and bullet-ridden RAMBO films has been a breeding ground for a range of media, including two video games, one of them being on the NES. It seems we haven't yet grown old of John Rambo, with news from UK publisher Reef Entertainment that a new Rambo title will be available for viewing at this years Gamescom event.
Reef Entertainment Commercial Director Craig Lewis said: ‘We have been quiet since we acquired the Rambo license last August. During this time we have been dedicated to creating a videogame for consoles and PC that will allow Rambo fans and gamers across the globe to really get under the skin of Rambo and wield his iconic weapon-set in battle.’
Currently no information has been released on the game besides that it will be available for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, however there is also an
official website available.
Keep an eye on AusGamers as more information about the game comes out as we get closer to Gamescom 2012.

Way to be 'really quiet', you'd be better off not releasing any information.
edit: they also helped publish rogue trooper, a metacritic 71 game...
So i'm giving this blockbuster franchise a 1/4 chance of failing outright, a 1/2 chance of being a <60 game and the rest of the 1/4 a linear progression between 60-100.
edit2: that link now works
