Which alongside Operation Chimera’s two new operators, kicks off the first major content for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Year 3 across PC and consoles. The two new Operators, Lion and Finka, are especially adept at handling bio-chemical threats. Which is handy because the new co-op mode, Outbreak, is very much a zombie-infestation survival event.
That will be playable for the next month. Gameplay trailer below.
Year 3 also marks some changes to the Rainbow Six Siege model, to better accommodate new or new-ish players. Like the removal of the Renown cost of the original 20 Operators and all attachments for all players who own the Standard Edition or the Advanced, Gold, and Complete editions. Plus, those who purchase the Starter Edition after will receive a total of six random Operators, instead of two.
