Ubisoft has released an all-new, and highly destructible, free map for Rainbow Six Siege called Border. Season Pass owners also get access to two new US Navy Seal Operators today, Valkyrie and Blackbeard. With the latter being more of a description than call sign, as the new Operator has a black beard. As per the deal with Rainbow Six Siege the new Operators will also be available to non season pass owners for renown or Rainbow Six Credits on May 18.
Called in to help Team Rainbow to secure the Border, the two (new Operators) bring unique new gadgets and abilities to the Operator roster. For example, Valkyrie – the Defender of the duo – can throw “Black Eye” sticky cameras that can be used by any team member to spy on opponents. Blackbeard, meanwhile, comes with a TARS Mk 0 (which stands for Transparent Armored Rifle Shield), giving him mobile cover without sacrificing his field of view or destructive capability.
Check out the trailer for the new map and Operators below.
Its brilliant. Frustratingly hard sometimes, but great with a good bunch of players. The destructibility of the latest map is insane. It's really a 'thinking' mans tactical shooter, not a run 'n gun by any measure. If you rush in ...you are dead very quickly. The tension can be insane sometimes. If you want to see a great player in action check out Macie Jays YouTube channel and watch what he can do with the various Operators.
I'd probably still have it installed if they ever fixed their server stability problems, nothing greater then getting disconnected back to menu at a tense moment in round 3 of the match.

Happens too often for me to enjoy."
Syzk, try it again mate, its extremely stable now. Can't remember the last time I had a disconnect, and of course now you can select which data centre is serving you. That may not have been enabled when you tried it last. You can edit your game settings to use servers from all over the world if you wish. For example, 'eau' for Eastern Australia etc.
extremely stable my ass, the amount of connection issues happening to a massive amount of people after the patch says otherwise. patch might be fun if most of the dudes I play with could actually f*****g connect for more than 10 seconds. awesome game let down by s*** systems and f***ed servers.

Well I guess peoples experience varies. I personally haven't had a disconnect for over, easily two months now and haven't had a single one since the last patch. I play it every night for a few hours. The only thing I have experienced is maybe one round a long loading time but that has always been present, but as for connection issues..not getting any here.
Are you using a console or a PC? I only game on PC and haven't had anything like the issues you report. Can you point me to this info on the'massive amount of people' having such issues, it would be interesting to see what thier specs setup & locations are.
** let me guess, you are using a Console. I see a number of console people (Ubisoft forums) complaining about your issues. Many ps4 users.
No, I'm playing on pc and the issues are there too. I play with a group and only I and another one of us can stay connected for longer than 10 secs, let alone actually jump into a game. We were all playing on the night before patch with no probs, then patch comes, no more siege. The issue still isn't fixed, probably because it still hasn't even been acknowledged, but feel free to continue to tell me they didn't break something.

Do you not know how to f*****g quote or something? It's not that I'm touchy, It's more that I get a little irritated when somebody gets on a forum and says "Oh well you must be playing on console because it works super duper fine on my pc" as if in the history of games being patched such a thing has never happened...
But thanks for going straight to the whole "oh he's a prick because he just dismissed the dribble I wrote" , one might say you're the touchy one.

Oh and here is a link to the PC technical FORUM just in case it was too hard for you to find amongst all the console threads...?
