Bethesda and id Software have released another dev diary style trailer offering a behind the scenes look at their upcoming first person shooter Rage. This latest video focuses on the game's story and setting, which although very similar in premise to other recent post-apocalyptic games is being approached in a very targeted manner with a lot of emphasis on player immersion.

Watch it below or click here for the HD option.

Rage is due on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on September 16 2011.

It's funny how they were talking about story and all it really showed was the player blowing stuff up.

I think it looks great though.

me thinks that they should not have dribbled on with all that nerdy c#$p. in this case i think that the anticipation was better than knowing everything about the game. They should have just released more teasers like fallout did to make a bit of atmosphere. Now it just looks like fallout x borderlands

"so when you step out of your ark in Rage you have no idea what your role in the bigger conflict will be"

loving the look of indoor environments, really detailed and beautiful

however, having finished borderlands and fallout 3 in recent years i might have to wait a few years to play this. If i had my eyes shut for the first 3 minutes of that video, i could easily think they are describing the fallout series

F*** you don't need to shut your eyes even or watch only the first 3 minutes, everything sounds like they're describing fallout
