Zenimax Online Studios hosted a two hour panel at the annual Quakecon event in Dallas Texas over the weekeend, where several developers of the recently launched MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online took the stage to discuss their future plans for the game.
Not just a pie-in-the-sky wishlist, the almost two hour presentation was actually filled with in-game footage and stills of work-in-progress implmentations from a wide assortment of new content and features that are in active development.
Those with a keen interest in the game will want to watch the full presentation which was recorded from Bethesda's live stream of the event on Twitch. The publisher recorded the full day's feed in a single dump, so you can find The Future of the Elder Scrolls Online presentation
here by skipping to the 5 hours 15 minute mark.
For anyone with more of a passing interest, MMO-centric blog and online resource
dulfy.net has done a stellar job at breaking it all down, with a detailed summary of all of the key points and cut video clips of most of the new content and features shown, including:
There's a whole lore more info in the full presentation, including the incredibly promising Spellcrafting system, so be sure to
check it all out.
No real timeframes were offered for any of the new additions and some are certainly looking much further away than others, but the developer has been reasonably timely with the game's first few post-launch content updates, so some of these might not be too distant.
