QuakeCon 2022 is back, but still in digital-only form.
Bethesda notes that the long-awaited return to Dallas for the largest in-person LAN event in the world will have to wait as planning for that takes months and there's still so much uncertainty due to the whole global pandemic whatnot.
But, the good news is that QuakeCon 2022 will proceed and continue to deliver the digital goodness. And with that there will be plenty of community focused streams and events, including some stuff for Starfield. Although basically everything about Starfield is still shrouded in mystery, by the time August 18 - August 20, 2022 rolls around (which is the date for QuakeCon 2022) we should be in peak Starfield mode.
Bethesda also notes that an in-person QuakeCon is on the cards for 2023, "We’re committed to returning with our full in-person festival in 2023, and already looking forward to reconnecting with friends, a massive BYOC packed with your latest custom PC creations, our wild contests, and tons of great new games and hardware for attendees to try out."
