The
Bethesda Blog has posted up news that id Software's new parent company has optioned
Quake 4, one of the Xbox 360's initial launch titles, for re-release in digital form via the system's Xbox Live service.
With it becoming harder and harder to find a new copy of the game, we’re happy to announce we’re re-releasing it at a low price of (USD)$19.99.
360 players can unleash their inner Strogg on Tuesday, June 19th in North America. In Europe, the game will be arriving on 360 and PC in the UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Benelux territories.
There's no mention of Australia in there anywhere, but it's highly doubtful we won't see it at the same time as North America. We'll update this post with details from Bethesda local when we have them.

Okay, I guess it couldn't. Even Team Arena was leagues better than Quake 4.
