Which will allow Xbox One players to go head-to-head against PlayStation 4 players. PUBG Corporation made the announcement overnight noting that the feature will arrive on the PUBG Pubic Test Server (PTS) in late September with the plan being for cross-play to go live in October.
The development team notes that this update will improve matchmaking times for PUBG. Also, content updates for the game will arrive on console sooner with the goal being to have major updates within two weeks of the PC version.
This also leads into the arrival of Season 4, which is coming to coming Xbox One on August 27. It marks the arrival of the Erangel Visual Update that brings a major overhaul to the look and feel of the original map, Erangel. Plus, 100 Erangel-themed rewards as you level up and new cooperative missions.
