Tastefully, with screwdrivers and a very clean workspace. As Yasuhiro Ootori, VP on the PlayStation 5 mechanical engineering team takes apart and points out the various components that make up Sony's next-gen console. A fascinating clip, and if you've ever wanted to see what super-fast SSD storage looks like or AMD's Radeon RDNA-2 graphics in console form - hit the jump.

Plus, we get to see why the PS5 is as big as it is - two large 120mm fans and a chunky heat-sink.

Two big things we learned from this video, the SSD expansion slot is readily accessible and will accept PCIE Gen4 M2 drives.

And that in either the vertical or horizontal position you'll need to screw a stand on the console.

And now... the glamour shots.
