On a pre-order page, Ubisoft appear to have inadvertently published some details for Far Cry 4 that weren't in the initial announcement. The page has been pulled now, but not before the hard working Google web spiders cached it for posterity (thanks Reddit).

Here's the blurb that seems to confirm the new villain's name, as well as the protagonist and his background:
Hidden in the majestic Himalayas lies Kyrat, a country steeped in tradition and violence. You are Ajay Ghale. Traveling to Kyrat to fulfill your mother's dying wish, you find yourself caught up in a civil war to overthrow the oppressive regime of dictator Pagan Min.

Explore and navigate this vast open world, where danger and unpredictability lurk around every corner. Here, every decision counts, and every second is a story. Welcome to Kyrat.
Some controversy was sparked when the game's cover art was released without context, showing an evil looking blonde-haired man seemingly dominating a darker skinned individual, but Creative Director Alex Hutchinson has confirmed via Twitter that "for those jumping to conclusions: He's not white and that's not the player".

Presumably, the guy on the makeshift statue-throne is Pagan Min, and judging by the player character's name, Ajay Ghale, both of them will be ethnic Nepalese or Tibetan.

Far Cry 4 is expected to be more comprehensively revealed during the E3 Expo next month, but a November 18 release date has already been set.

Did people really think that guy was the protagonist and not the villain? That screams "Kim Jung Il parody" like the antagonist in Just Cause 2 did.
