The biggest news out of Sony Japan's Tokyo Press Conference last night was the reveal of the PlayStation Vita TV, as the name might suggest, the Vita TV is a non-mobile device that plugs into a TV and can run games from Sony's PlayStation Vita stable on the big screen with a PS3 controller, for the low entry point of JPY¥9954 (currently around AU$108), and in a small form-factor.

According to a Sony press release, the Vita TV can also function as a remote play device for PS3 and PS4, run the same TV and movie applications as it's mobile counterpart, and outputs 720p, but won't be able to play PS Vita titles that require touch input.

The device has not been announced for markets outside of Japan as yet, but will launch in Sony's home market on November 14 2013, a few months ahead of the PS4, which isn't due there until Feb 2014. Check out the trailer below for a bit of concept lifestyle action.
