The all-new PlayStation Plus is now available in Australia, with three tier offerings - Essential, Extra, and Deluxe. And with hundreds of games covering just the entire history of PlayStation, we took a few minutes to go through the list and present the full Australian PlayStation Plus Extra and Deluxe launch game list.

PlayStation Plus Extra is the big addition. A subscription with access to a huge library of PS4 and PS5 games to play. Dubbed the 'Game Catalog' Sony offers up hundreds of downloadable games. PlayStation Plus Deluxe is all of the above plus "access to definitive games from years gone by in the Classics Catalogue". Meaning downloadable titles for PS2 and the original PlayStation console from the 1990s. Plus, the PSP too. Sony is also putting game trials in this category.

And before we get to the list it's worth noting that there are some differences to other regions outside of the lack of cloud-based PS3 action. We noticed the addition of titles like Project Cars 2 and 3 and the lack of Mortal Kombat 11. Also, we can confirm that Classic games covering the original PlayStation console are the PAL 50Hz versions for the Australian launch - which is a bit of a letdown on the account of PAL versions of older games running slower to their overseas NTSC counterparts. But, hey it's an authentic Aussie '90s experience, so there's that.
