Not quite, though you have to assume that the PlayStation Plus Collection for the PlayStation 5 came about due to the success and sheer value of Xbox Game Pass. Although it doesn't feature hundreds of games and regular new title launches, the PS Plus Collection will give all subscribers a number of PS4 titles to play on their PlayStation 5 at launch.

With the titles announced so far being:
God of War
Bloodborne
Monster Hunter World
Final Fantasy XV
Fallout 4
Mortal Kombat X
Uncharted 4
Ratchet and Clank
Days Gone
Until Dawn
Detroit Become Human
Battlefield 1
Infamous Secnd Son
Batman Arkham Knight
The Last Guardian
The Last Of Us Remastered
Persona 5
Resident Evil 7

With each game being a simple download and play -- that will also benefit from the PS5's fast SSD storage and additional processing power. Some big titles are included here too -- God of War and Uncharted 4 are two of the biggest PS4 titles. As a permanent addition to PS Plus odds are more and more titles will be added throughout 2021.

As someone who doesn’t won a PS4, I have an XBone, but am thinking of buying a PS5 as well this is good news. I can catch up on the exclusives games without buying the all.

Although by the time I do buy one it could be cheaper to buy the games...
