Sony has revealed that the PlayStation 4 companion app that would link your console with your smartphone has now been delayed until November 29th, the day of the PlayStation 4's launch in Australia.

"We're still making some final tweaks to ensure the experience is butter-smooth for you ahead of the PS4 launch next Friday," said Sony. To help ease the pain Sony has also revealed a new video showing exactly what we'll be able to do come November 29th with the app.

The new app will allow you to "keep connected to your gaming friends and the games you love to play. Push games from PlayStation Store to your PS4 system and be ready to game at home." The app will also link directly to your console, allowing for second-screen functionality, and letting you use the your mobile device's keyboard to more conveniently type into text fields within the PlayStation 4's user interface. Check it out below.
