Where it finally dawned on me what the new impressive looking side-scrolling indie Planet Alpha reminds me of. Shadow Complex crossed with the visual aesthetic No Man's Sky. Now, that's not to say that it's unoriginal - it's more of a statement of how my brain works. Anyway, Planet Alpha will be out on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC on September 4.

Tasty.

The new trailer showcases some of the more action-heavy moments where survival is key. Planet Alpha comes from Denmark-based Planet Alpha ApS game studio, a small team that has been working on the game for over 4 years, and publisher Team17.
