With the surprise reveal of Path of Exile 2 over the weekend, the talented folks over at Grinding Gear Games are also prepping the next expansion and 3.9 update for the current game called Path of Exile: Conquerors of the Atlas. Also, Path of Exile Mobile is happening.

Which, as per the reveal trailer below is not only mindful of the Diablo Immortal reveal fiasco but has a few sly digs at Blizzard with a note that it's being designed and developed internally.

"We wanted to make something that is a real Path of Exile game," co-founder Chris Wilson state. "We didn't just farm it out to an external studio. It's developed entirely by our team here in New Zealand."

A clear dig a Blizzard's Diablo collaboration with Chinese developer NetEase. Grinding Gear Games is also adamant that it's monetisation approach won't be predatory or like other mobile games.

Other than that it looks like a faithful port of the game with touch-controls. Anyway, here's a look at Conquerors of the Atlas which looks to change up the current Path of Exile endgame in a big way.
