Hi-Rez has announced a $350,000 community tournament series for its team-based shooter Paladins, which is aimed at providing high-quality competition for aspiring players across the world. The Paladins Global Series will consist of 10 monthly tournaments for PC players in Southeast Asia, Russia, North America, Brazil, Latin America, Europe, and Oceania. Everyone is eligible, but no pros allowed.

Here's a quick video explaining how it will all play out.

"The Paladins Global Series and its corresponding esports broadcast will allow players to develop their skills, get noticed by pro teams, and get paid," said Todd Harris, Paladins Executive Producer and Hi-Rez Studios Co-founder. The Paladins Global Series begins August 1.
