The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim -- you know it, you've probably played it. For me, I've done a full play-through on Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. The latter of which, modded and tweaked to perfection. To celebrate Skyrim's tenth anniversary on 11/11 this year The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition is arriving with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S enhancements plus Creation Club content like fishing and new quests.
With over 500 pieces of Creation Club content from fans and modders this will be a very interesting release to say the least. Owners of the previous The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition will also get access to next-gen enhancements plus access to three free pieces of Creation Club content -- Fishing, Survival Mode and a new Saints and Seducers quest-line.
This release is all about the fans and how Skyrim has endured thanks to a community of modders, players, and artists. With that Bethesda is planning a Skyrim concert stream for the anniversary, a Skyrim Museum to showcase fan art and cosplay, and more.
Finally, as a part of QuakeCon at Home we also got a run-through of the opening parts of the game with Bethesda Game Studios.
