Which means ray-tracing and/or DLSS support arriving in a number of PC game releases from now until the end of the year. Of course the three big hitters in terms of AAA calibre are Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs: Legion, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 - all three will feature ray-tracing and DLSS when they make their debut in the coming weeks.

In order to turn RTX On you’ll need a GeForce RTX capable card - where the dedicated RT and Tensor Cores bring hardware acceleration to real-time ray-tracing and the benefit of AI to rendering and performance.

Watch Dogs: Legion

Watch Dogs: Legion is the first title coming, it launches October 29 and will feature ray-traced reflections and DLSS rendering - as seen in our preview. It’s worth noting that the ray-traced reflections will appear in the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of the game as part of a next-gen update.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War

The latest Call of Duty, which is set in the go-go-80s is set to feature ray-traced shadows on PC with additional DLSS support for all modes (which will no doubt be awesome for multiplayer performance) and NVIDIA Reflex which leverages the Tensor cores to improve system latency. That is, the ol’ TTK from when you press left-click to the on-screen gun to doing its business.

Cyberpunk 2077

Enough said really. In terms of RTX On though this has the works: ray-traced reflections, ambient occlusion, global diffuse lighting (the neon glowy stuff), and shadows. Plus, DLSS.

Here’s a breakdown of the other titles set to get their RTX, well, On.

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, the popular medieval combat sim currently in Early Access is getting DLSS support in November.

World of Warcraft, yeah THE World of Warcraft is getting ray-traced shadows to coincide with the release of the latest expansion - Shadowlands.

Mortal Shell the stylish indie Souls-like action-RPG, is set to get ray-traced shadows and DLSS in November.

Chinese action-RPG Xuan-Yuan Sword VII is getting ray-traced global illumination (as seen in Metro Exodus) alongside DLSS support for its launch.

Ghostrunner, as seen above, blends Mirror’s Edge with Cyberpunk cool and ninjas. And because of that we’re totally on board. Throw in ray-traced reflections and RTX goodness - plus DLSS coming in November - and there’s another reason to jump into this on PC.

Community driven Final Fantasy-inspired RPG Edge of Eternity (something we’ve been playing in Early Access now for years, in that new story content gets added as it's done) is getting DLSS support. As is indie shooter Ready or Not (the spiritual SWAT successor), available in Alpha form on Steam. That’s getting the full menu of ray-traced reflections, shadows, and ambient occlusion in addition to DLSS.

Enlisted (seen above) is an online squad-based first person set during World War II about to head into Closed Beta in November - it's set to feature ray-traced global illumination and DLSS.

And finally, just in time for Halloween there’s Pumpkin Jack (out this weekend) which has a kind of MediEvil vibe. On PC it arrives with ray-traced reflections, shadows, enhanced lighting, and DLSS.
