Ever since we got to see just how great the DLSS implementation was in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War we've been patiently waiting for NVIDIA's impressive rendering tech to make its way to Call of Duty: Warzone. And now, the wait is over with DLSS arriving in both Warzone and Modern Warfare’s multiplayer modes.
DLSS or Deep Learning Super Sampling is a bit of rendering magic that uses AI to upscale and present an image comparable to native resolution or even better (as seen when using the DLSS 'Quality' setting). Making use of the GeForce RTX line's dedicated AI Tensor cores, the hardware accelerated bit of AI goodness is something of a game changer because the boost in performance is sizeable and then some.
Which you can seen below in this 4K video from NVIDIA.
And these charts.
Yeah, it's impressive stuff -- and if you're rocking a GeForce RTX graphics card and playing Warzone, no doubt this is something you'll want to enable the next time you fire it up.
