Which is either a case of "Oh no, I forgot to file this paperwork twenty years ago", or that Nintendo is planning to bring back both the N64 and the GameCube in one form or another. Registered back in the May, the N64 trademark does mention TV among other potential uses - pointing toward a Mini Nintendo 64 release sometime soon. As for the GameCube trademark?

Which was slipped in alongside one for the new Fire Emblem title coming to the Switch, that could relate to something specific or nothing at all. A single release, or perhaps a line of emulated games coming to the Nintendo Switch eShop.

Either way we'd love to see both a Mini N64 with HD-output and a line of GameCube classics for the Switch.

4K N64 might be a tad overkill... but 4k rogue leader on gamecube… that could be awesome
