After last week's debut it looks like we've got a little bit longer to wait before Nintendo are ready to give us full details on it's new home gaming console, the Nintendo Switch. Stuff like the price point, peripherals, what's under the hood, and what launch titles we can expect. Plus that small little detail of actual in-game footage. Scheduling the event for January 13 makes a lot of sense as we're just about to head into the holiday season and every few days another AAA game gets released.
In other Nintendo Switch news according to industry insiders Nintendo won't be selling the console at a loss, and that the Switch is purely a single-screen system.
Here's that first look again. Because, why not.
UPDATED to reflect the local time for the presentation, as per the Nintendo Australia press release, "Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017, a live presentation for invited media, analysts and trade partners in Tokyo on 13th January. This presentation will also be globally live-streamed online and will include the exact launch date as well as a look at the line-up of games currently in development."

Btw, this is an announcement about an announcement about an announcement. 3 levels of dumb announcement hell.
