When will we start seeing SNES titles? Currently Nintendo's online subscription service for the Switch is offering players NES titles each month, with December introducing Wario's Woods, Ninja Gaiden, and Adventures of Lolo next week. And sure, Ninja Gaiden is a stone cold classic - but games from the 16-bit Super Nintendo era would be better suited to the console.

In that 8-bit NES games are stuff we've seen over and over again, and well, look far more dated to the games published only a handful of years later.

Of course this is more opinion than news, but getting Super Metroid or Mega Man X or Rock N' Roll Racing or any other classic SNES title trumps just about any NES heavyweight. Not only visually, but the early '90s saw developers master 2D design.
