Our pals over at Vooks posted up a bit of a classic EB Games snafu earlier today, revealing a bunch of Nintendo Switch accessories well and truly ahead of when they were likely allowed to. Most of it is standard stuff, but an image featuring a USB-C cable has many pondering if this is how Switch will be charged and would be a massive first for Nintendo to standardise parts of their hardware.

As Vooks points out, USB-C is pretty new, but if we're to believe that Nintendo Switch is as on-the-go as that initial reveal trailer suggests, then, err, switching from proprietary charging hardware to something that'll essentially be able to be charged anywhere (think those USB ports on modern planes) makes a lot of sense.

We've been handed a "save the date" for a visit down to Nintendo in Melbourne in mid January next year, where we'll be getting hands-on with the device and presumably learning a lot more, while Nintendo is said to be close to giving us even more information between now and the end of the year, so stay tuned for more. In the meantime, check out the leaked images below.
