After an abscence from last years GamesCom, Nintendo looks to be making a return to the Germany event according to a report over at
MCVUK. While the company wasn't the only one to not show up last year, with Microsoft also unable to appear, it seems Nintendo may have felt it lost more from not showing up.
Tim Endres, Gamescom project manager at organiser Koelnmesse said: "Nintendo's return is an absolute highlight for our community, exhibitors and trade visitors from around the world."
"The participation of Nintendo underlines the strong support of the BIU-Members for gamescom. We are looking forward to a great gamescom 2013," added Dr Maximilian Schenk, MD of German trade body BIU.
The event, which takes place in Cologne, Germany on August 21st to 25th will see various exhibitors from around the world coming together to showcase new tech and games. Organisers have confirmed that not only will Nintendo be appearing, but also various publishers will be re-appearing from last year, including Bethesda Softworks, Bigpoint, Deep Silver/Koch Media, Electronic Arts, Konami, NCsoft, Riot Games, Ubisoft, Wargaming and Warner Bros.
