Amidst
reports of significant losses for the Q3 fiscal year (ending December 31st), Nintendo of Japan boss, Satoru Iwata, has promised investors the gaming giant will bounce back, reiterating their next home console, Wii U, is on track for a 2012 Holiday release.
While traditionally Nintendo's handhelds have had something of a staggered release; usually dropping in Japan first, followed by North America, Europe and then finally Australia, their home consoles tend to be much closer, with Wii U reportedly arriving in all major retail areas at the same time in 2012.
No other information was revealed, though it's expected Nintendo will divulge all at this year's E3.
