Thanks to confirmation posted over at Eurogamer, Nintendo has revealed it is launching an investigation into the behaviour of Nintendo of Russia's CEO, Yasha Haddaji. Within the confirmation, which specifically highlights footage of Haddaji berating hosts of a Mario Kart livestream, the gaming giant also acknowledges that other allegation against the CEO have surfaced.
"We are aware of a video uploaded to YouTube recently in which Nintendo Russia's General Manager, Yasha Haddaji, is seen losing his temper during an altercation with an external vendor in charge of a Mario Kart livestream. Mr Haddaji's conduct and choice of words are most certainly not in line with our company values," Nintendo officially stated to the site.
"We are also aware of further allegations that have appeared in the wake of this video and are now running a thorough investigation. We take these matters extremely seriously and will not comment further while we are running our investigation."
Nintendo attempted to have the video pulled, but in this day and age it's difficult to stop those pesky Internet experts, with numerous fans archiving the video and re-uploading it to YouTube where it's been shared across social media and viewed over 250,000 times (this video, at least).
What the other allegations against Haddaji are exactly, hasn't yet come to light. Watch the tanty video embedded below.
