Nintendo Announce Pokemon Black and White Version 2

Nintendo of Europe has just announced that the long running game series Pokémon is finally getting a sequel in the series, Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2. Currently there's no other information barring the announcement, however, being a sequel could mean that it will follow on from the original story in Pokémon Black and White, which sold over 77,000 copies in Australia within just one week of going on shelves.

This is the first time a Pokémon series has ever had a sequel, and hopefully that means a change in the environment as well as the story, which would be an exciting new adventure for Pokémon fans.

Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 will be available later this year on the DS system, but also available on the 3DS in 2D however. Currently all that has been shown is two art concepts of Black Kyurem and White Kyurem, who could possibly be the legendaries of the game series. Stay tuned for more!

Gray is what you get when you take a Pokemon Black and Pokemon White cartridge, lay them on top of each other, and smash them with a hammer. The way it's supposed to be played.

Kind of s*** that it's not a 3DS game. I don't like playing DS games on my 3DS, the colours are all washed out.

There are rumours that this will be the last title for DS, and that the 3DS has a title in the works. Gamefreak were the first to get a dev kit of the 3DS, but these rumours are saying that they already had Black and White in the works beforehand, and it was just easier to complete then port over.

I wish gamefreak would make a clone of pokemon but with out all the cute-cuddley critters. More dangerous and deadly things which could rip your arm out of you socket and/or eat you. A new IP is what I want.

2 things I'd like to see:

A new pokemon game with the original 151 pokemon only. All the rest suck.
An MMO - There's been several fanmade ones that nintendo has shut down. If you're not making your own, don't be a c*** about it ffs.

A lot of the new ones are s***, but a great deal of them I wouldn't mind seeing around still. Gen 1 and Gen 3 both were pretty good imo.

I wish I kept my R B Y carts. It would be cool to have them. I still have a Pokemon Gold cart though. I would like to see them move away from random silly looking creatures, s*** does not make sense anymore. I agree that most of the original 151 are the best. What we need is a rom hack to remove or modifiy all the crappy silly pokemon.

I had pokemon red back in highschool. Was awesome. I never regained interest in it again after i saw a single episode of the cartoon though.
