Originally slated for release and integration into the Xbox platform late last year, the new Microsoft Avatar system has been a no show for quite sometime now. But, thanks to a new video leaked by one of the developers we've got a better look at the Windows 10 and Xbox One compatible editor.

Which includes detailed customisation across just about every body part through to clothing and posing your digital counterpart.

One might even say that this is possibly a little too involved, like a detailed character creator in an RPG. Here's hoping there's a randomize option. The new Avatar system is said to be almost ready for testing by Xbox Insiders, which means the system may debut in time for E3.
