With Trackmania being a complete remake of the popular Trackmania Nations. Originally slated for release earlier this year, remote development due to the current pandemic has seen its release date shift gears to July 1. This remake promises to be a new start for the franchise (hence the naming) with a focus on better live integration in addition to the visual overhaul.
Plus, esports. Here's the latest replay-heavy gameplay trailer that also showcases the modular approach to building new tracks via "blocks".
Regularly updated content: Trackmania features an official seasonal campaign and a daily track selection.
Diverse tracks: Trackmania allows for unique track creations that players can share by providing new surfaces and “special” blocks.
A new type of esport: Trackmania makes esports accessible to everyone, with in-game daily competitions to international open leagues.
The competitive side of Trackmania has always been fascinating where shaving fractions of a second off your time pairs naturally with the simple controls and breakneck speed. Since its debut in 2004 the series has seen a number of entries with 2006's Trackmania Nations bringing the stadium approach and online play that fans have grown to love.
