And that’s the title, New Tales from the Borderlands, an interactive standalone narrative adventure set in the Borderlands universe. A spiritual successor of sorts to Telltale’s excellent Tales from the Borderlands series, this new adventure is developed by Gearbox Software studio Gearbox Quebec - and promises “a deep and original story full of unexpected turns, heartwarming emotion, and classic Borderlands humor”.

Like the Telltale games of old this one’s focused on story, characters, and player choice shaping the narrative. As per the trailer below it definitely looks and feels like a brand-new Tale from the Borderlands, but with the added bonus of the modern visuals seen in Borderlands 3 and Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.
