Matter -- the first pointed attempt at a unified Smart Home experience -- is beginning to find its legs as more and more manufacturers adopt the ecosystem, which aims to standardise home connections in a simple, easy solution for customers. Among major brands such as Amazon and Apple, one of our favourite smart lighting brands, Nanoleaf, has also thrown its support behind the initiative, revealing new Matter-compatible additions to its Essentials range.

Nanoleaf has announced four new Matter-compatible smart Bulbs & Lightstrips in the Essentials line, offering the first-ever lighting products to work with Matter. This innovative line of smart lighting—including A19, GU10, BR30 Bulbs, and a Lightstrip—marks an industry first with its Matter-compatible technology, illustrating Nanoleaf’s commitment to creating the most seamless experience for its users and leading the way for the future of the smart home.

The new Matter-compatible additions to the Essentials line offer a full suite of lighting products to illuminate your entire home with easy controls and RGBW capabilities. Offering 16M+ colour options as well as ultra-bright tunable whites (with color temperatures ranging from 2700-6500K), the Bulbs and Lightstrip can also play dynamic colour-changing lighting Scenes which are fully customisable with the Nanoleaf App.

Control the lights with your preferred app or voice assistant, via Matter’s Multi-Admin capabilities, and set Schedules for automation throughout the day, personalising your lighting needs for your living room, bedroom, kitchen, office space, and more.

Nanoleaf is also set to unveil a number of new Matter-compatible products at CES 2023 which will help to enable even more seamless lighting automation in the home.
